Services, Turnaround Time and Prices

Service Offerings and Coverage

Our primary coverage areas are San Diego and Orange Counties. We also conduct searches in Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Riverside. In addition, we offer a criminal “Regional” search which includes a criminal search in the aforementioned counties for one low fee.

Our primary service offering is criminal research and document retrieval, we also regularly provide research and document retrieval for the following:

Criminal
A basic criminal search includes a seven year countywide search for Felony and Misdemeanor cases. Additional years to be searched are also available. Hit information is obtained from the court’s system. File information is also available upon request. Standard turnaround time is 24 hours or less for "clear" results and 48 hours or less for “hit” information. Case File retrieval may increase turnaround time for hit information.

Civil
A basic civil search includes a seven year countywide search for civil upper and/or lower cases. Civil cases are matched by name only. Additional years to be searched are also available. Hit information is obtained from the court’s system. File information is also available upon request. Standard turnaround time is 24-48 hours or less for “clear” results and 48-72 hours or less for “hit” information. Case File retrieval may increase turnaround time for hit information.

Traffic Court- San Diego Only
Traffic Court presides over non criminal related traffic cases. Most of these cases involve infraction related driving violations such as speeding, running stop signs, etc. Unless infraction related charges are a part of a larger Felony or Misdemeanor case, these charges or convictions will not be reported as part of a criminal search.

Southern District Federal Search
A basic federal search is conducted at the Southern District Federal Court and encompasses seven years. The Southern District covers both San Diego and Imperial County. Due to the limited amount of identifying information within a case file, often results are returned as a name match only.

Tax Liens and Judgments- San Diego Only
This county level search is conducted onsite at the County Recorders Office. Search will reveal notices of default, county and state tax liens.

Fictitious Business Names- San Diego Only
Fictitious Business Name search is also conducted at the County Recorder’s Office. Search will reveal existence of a DBA or fictitious business name for a company or individual.

Probate- San Diego Only
A Probate search is conducted at the Superior Courthouse deals with decedents' estates, trusts, guardianship of minors, and conservatorship of adults who are unable to provide for their personal needs or manage their financial resources.

Domestic/Family Court- San Diego Only
Family Law has jurisdiction over the following issues: Marital Dissolutions (Divorce) and Legal Separations, Domestic Partnerships, Domestic Violence, Restraining Orders, Child Custody and Visitation, Establish Paternity or Parental Relationship, Nullity, Child and Spouse Support.

Warrant Search- San Diego Only
Subject’s name and identifying information is submitted to the Sheriff Department and Court to check the existence of any open warrant. If a warrant is found, we will then proceed to try and get any information pertaining to the warrant and case surrounding the warrant.

Bankruptcy Search- San Diego Only
This search is conducted at the Federal Bankruptcy Court in San Diego. The search encompasses the last ten years however additional years can be requested and searched.

Turnaround Time

With regards to criminal requests, we are able to efficiently service large, moderate and small volume clients with speed, accuracy and cost effectiveness. The turnaround time for criminal and civil record searches is same to next day for "clear" results. With regards to records information, reports are usually returned within 24 to 48 hours of receiving the request. This turnaround time includes the time needed for record information to go through our quality control process. Please note: There may be a delay in receiving results due to court closure, court system down time, file unavailability or remote file location. As for all other types of requests, the turnaround time is usually 24-36 hours, but can vary based on type of search and file location.
